Harpswell Business Association will hold a dinner meeting at Cook’s Lobster House on June 13th with Kim Olsen, state representative as guest speaker.
The Harpswell Business Association will meet at Cook’s Lobster
House to kick off the summer season. There will be a special menu for Harpswell Business Association members and their guests. A meet and greet session starting at 6:00 p.m. will be followed by the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Kim Olsen, state representative for District 64 is the featured guest speaker. All interested local business owners are invited to attend.
The 2012 Map & Guide will be distributed to all attendees. It contains current contact information and locations for 95 locally owned businesses and non-profits throughout Harpswell, including Orr’s and Bailey Island, Cundy’s Harbor and Great Island. It also includes a Calendar of Events, striking photographs donated by Mark Royall, Rob Smith and George Simonson, and a more comprehensive map features boat landings, hiking trails, libraries, playgrounds, post offices and fire stations.
The agenda will include old and new business and presentations including an exciting new business App available to all HBA members through the Southern Midcoast Chamber of Commerce. The June’s HBA co-op ad in DownEast Magazine which features 19 Harpswell businesses in a panoramic 2 page spread will be discussed as will other co-op ad opportunities. For those who have not yet seen it, there will be an opportunity to watch the Harpswell promotional video that is now playing at the Kittery and Yarmouth Visitors Center. It can also be viewed at HarpswellMaine.org.
The next regularly scheduled monthly business meeting of the HBA will be September 12th, with guest speaker Jeremy Saxton, the Democratic candidate for State Representative for District 64.
