The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began when several veterans and friends, moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq, took action to help others in need. What started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members has grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist soldiers as they recover and transition back to civilian life.

The Great State of Maine Air Show will highlight the Wounded Warrior Project— and to show our support of this worthy cause, a portion of our tournament entry fees will be donated to WWP.   For the month of August, all Harris Golf pro shops throughout Maine will be accepting donations for the cause. Our courses salute those who have sacrificed so much in the name of our freedom!

An airshow… a golf tournament… a family weekend… a worthy cause. Join us for the 1st Annual Air Show Scramble at Mere Creek– it promises to be a great late summer weekend for all!Yours in Golf,The Clubs of Harris Golf
